Oves Enterprise, Norway's KDA contemplate strategic partnership
Cluj-Napoca-based Romanian software developer Oves Enterprise is contemplating a strategic partnership with one of the global leaders in defense solutions, Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA) for the integration of its Nemesis AI technology into defense solutions, the Romanian company said in a release.
Oves Enterprise received this week at its headquarters a delegation from KDA, Norway's premier supplier of defence and aerospace-related systems and solutions, led by the company's senior vice president Krystian Chmielewski.
"The representatives of the two companies discussed ways whereby the advanced artificial intelligence solution Nemesis AI could contribute to increasing technological performance in the defense sector. Talks also included the establishment of a potential joint venture through which the two companies can develop together new defense capabilities. Nemesis AI is an artificial intelligence solution that integrates a neuromorphic architecture, capable of managing complex situations in real time, with increased efficiency. Through the last-generation technologies it incorporates, Nemesis AI can transform defense systems through advanced visual recognition, tactical anticipation and autonomous adaptability. It is mainly intended for the defense and security industry, providing advanced solutions for autonomous military vehicles such as drones, missiles and other tactical equipment, whether for land, air or sea," the release states.
The Cluj-Napoca municipality expressed its openness to entering a close collaboration with Oves Enterprise on defense and security projects, by providing the necessary resources for the development of these advanced technologies.
Oves Enterprise is a Romanian software development company founded in 2015, with expertise in creating complex software solutions and AI innovations for the aerospace, defense and cybersecurity industries.
Starting from 2019, the company's strategy included more complex software development services for projects in the automotive, eCommerce, fintech, telecom sector, as well as for international government institutions.
More than half of the Romanian developer's current turnover is generated by projects outside Romania, which integrate new technologies from the field of artificial intelligence and big data.
